Approx. 1:30pm. The 2 mile walk begins after the final group of runners kicks off. Stay for the party! With food and drink vendors lining the streets, the party is just beginning after the race ends. Stay for awhile and enjoy the most epic St. Patrick’s Day weekend block party. This 2 mile walk begins right after the runners depart. Walkers will go out to the first mile marker, circling back onto Maple Street and finishing at Dwight and Maple. There will be entertainment along the walk course. Walkers also get a race t-shirt! Every year, thousands of people gather in Holyoke around St. Patrick's Day for the annual 10K Road Race and parade. If you have registered for the 10K run or the 2-mile walk, you’ll have to Kick off the celebrations with the 10K race at the stroke of 1:00pm, setting out from the top of Maple Street. Not a runner? No problem! The 2-mile walk starts right after the runners take off, offering a fun route with entertainment to keep your spirits high – all participants will be rewarded with a commemorative T-shirt!
